works great. i had an older model of the Warthog, that i set up with the steels, and used these with a newer model for the sharpening, this means i have two devices but don't have to fiddle with switching from sharpening to steeling. Warthog is the best and most simple way of keeping your knives sharp.

spare stones will be required if you sharpen a lot or have hard steel knives.
