I bought this fan to replace an intermittently noisy one in an automotive battery charger. This fan is quieter than the original and has better bearings (ball) that I hope will last longer than the OG. It fit exactly in place, the wires reached the circuit board and the best part of all is the connector fit too.So it was pretty much literally a drop in replacement that worked perfectly on power up. I am, of course, a very happy camper.

I used these to replace the noisy fans (same size) on my Hyperion battery charger.Surprisingly, the originals have bushings, not bearings. They started to whine occasionally, and it was getting more frequent. These bolted right in. They spin fast and quietly and move just as much if not more air than the originals.

I have many different fans made by this brand; they are my first choice when I am looking for a DC fan. This little powerhouse is fantastic however it is very loud. I bought it to replace the fan on my diode laser engraver module and it works well, much better than stock. I don't mind the noise since it's used in an enclosure, and I don't have to sit next to it for long periods. I highly recommend this fan if noise isn't an issue and certainly recommend this brand for all of your DC fan needs. I think I have only had one to fail on me within a short time period and the seller quickly replaced it.

This fan was more effective than I thought it'd be. I installed it in a 3D printer, and it's so effective that I had to dial it way back from when I tried other fans of similar size and rating. I've tried other fans with similar specs and they didn't seem to move as much air as they claimed. Plus, they had rattling from bearings or maybe something else, but I don't hear that with this fan. Will you hear it? Absolutely. It's not super quiet, but no fan moving this much air in that little package will be quiet -- the point is the noise I hear is from moving air and not defective or poorly designed parts.I'm glad I found it. No ridiculously overmarketed and overpackaged (but underpowered) nonsense here. Just a more affordable and effective fan with some screws, and that's all I ever asked for.

If your dishes and plastic-ware has started to come out still wet from your high-end Whirlpool corporation dishwasher (Jenn Air, Kitchenaid, Whirlpool, Maytag) and it has a round plastic circle inside the left top of the door then this 5 volt 40mm fan is probably all you need to fix it.On my dishwasher I was able to get it to provide an error code of what component was faulty by hitting any three buttons in a row three times in a row. When I hit those buttons it went into self-test mode and did stuff for about 15 minutes. When it was done the light on the front flashed 10-3, ten quick blinks, a pause, 3 quick blinks, a pause. I looked this up in a Google search and that was the code for "Vent Fan". Looking up the Vent Fan assembly for my model it was around $150 retail part and available here on Amazon for around $75.I found a YouTube video titled "Replacing the the Vent and Fan Assembly on a Dishwasher" and followed their directions to remove the outer front door panel to remove and examine my faulty part. Inside it it had a 5 volt 40mm square by 20mm deep fan that I recognized as being commonly used in 1U computer components.I bought this fan from this listing on Amazon for under $10.00 and it came within one day.The only trick to installing it was that I had to reuse the white power connector block that was on the original fan by pulling the old wires out from it, and then I cut the leads on the new fan to lenght and then pushed them (all the way) into the connector block for it to make good contact. That connector block is of the self-stripping type similar to how telephone punch down blocks work. When pushing the new wires into the connector block a small flat blade screwdriver should work but I used a "Terminal Removal Tool" which I had previously purchased here on Amazon for around $10.00 and that is similar to two big keyrings of different shaped terminal pushing and extracting tools.Installation was reverse of removal, I got the dishwasher back together and on the first run of it the dishes again came out dry.
