I've looked at many of these spline keys trying to find a good back up for the original because NO garage is going to remove your lugs by hand. This is the only one I've found that LOOKS thicker and stronger. Most are very thin steel. I haven't tried it yet so I can't say 5 stars but I will hand this one over on my next tire rotation and see how it does. Fits tight on lugs also!Update. I gave this to the mechanic at the dealership and it worked really well he said. Don't waste your time on other spline tools. Get this one first.

Bought a used car, it didn’t have the lug nut key. After searching for the right style key for a bit I found this one and it was correct. I haven’t abused it with an impact so I don’t know how durable it really is, though I wouldn’t normally chance it anyway.

The socket works with my method wheels lug nut kit. Looks solid, thick walls should hold up without any problems

I had to use the torch on it and hammered gently on a nut like other people suggested and it is working like a charm.I saw a lot of comments of people breaking it easily. It is probably because they don't use it correctly but just to make sure, I quenched it in canola oil after torching it.

The original key that came with the White Knight 809L-20AM Chrome M14 x 1.50 Duplex Spline Lug Nut was faulty and eventually snapped. I bought this hoping it would fit, and I needn't have worried. Its a perfect fit for the lug nuts and seems a lot sturdier than the one that came with them. Only time will tell of course, but right now I am happy.
