Step 1
Drill 1 inch from the bottom of any bucket. The nipples should sit chest to beak level of your poultry. Place a object underneath to achieve this.
Step 2
Insert nipple in to drilled hole. Insure rubber ring is placed outside the bucket to avoid leaks. Rubber ring should NOT be inside the bucket.
Step 3
Rotate the wing nut until the nipple is firmly in place. Do not over tighten or under tighten.
Step 4
Use the installation tool to screw the nipple in to the bucket.

Just the job easy to fit drill included, wing nuts a bit weak don't tighten down too much, hopefully will replace mine with brass when l find thread size, but very good product.

These are great quality because I have used them now for a year and they don't come apart. With other low quality nipples, when the water level gets lower than the nipples the chickens can somehow pull out the springs. But not with these. They also have done very well all through our very cold winters here in Ontario. I highly recommend these! It was easy enough to create my own waterer with these. These help maintain clean water for your flock.

Die Nippeltränken funktionieren grundsätzlich sehr gut und die Hühner haben die Funktionsweise sofort begriffen. Leider muß man deutlich mehr Nippel bestellen als man braucht da einige von vorneherein undicht sind. Bei mir waren es ca. 30% . Da das Produkt grundsätzlich günstig ist und ich sie dringend brauchte, habe ich sie behalten. Die intakten Nippel tun inzwischen seit ca 2 Monaten problemlos ihren Dienst.

I bought these because it said anti leak. Installed today on a barrel to come back later and find a huge wet mess in my coop. Most nipples were steadily dripping water. I did install them properly. Not impressed

We have had chickens since I was a little kid and we usually had to change the water everyday because they always find a way to poop in their water. I was told about these by a local farmer shop recently and they had none in stock but they told me there were some on amazon and those are amazing, you don't have to change the water evryday because they can't make that water dirty no matter how hard they try! It was tricky to install these inside that bottle because i could only fit a tick in there to tighten them but they work like a charm. VERY IMPORTANT: your container need to have a hole at the top because if its completely sealed up when you put it in your coop the water will stop flowing after a while and your chickens will die of thirst even tho there is a full gallon of water, these dont let air pass they only let water out and whitout a way for air to get it in creates a vaccuum and prevents water flom flowing.
