Mercury designed 2 different diameter drive shaft among 4, 4.5 and 7.5 horsepower boat motors within the same serial number range, this listing is for the larger or .456" extral diameter shaft.
If you have the smaller or .438" inside diameter impeller, this is not the correct kit for your unit. Please see our another Impeller 47-89980.
This impeller will not fit 5hp ( p/n 47-16154-3) Mercury Mariner engines.
