It works as good as any full size plane. I wish I had found this 50 yrs ago would have saved taking many a door down, strip the hardware, to plane

It works great for balsa wood, basswood and pine.It is very small. Good for small parts. I use it for RC airplanes.Hard woods or any "around the house" carpenter project: this planer is probably useless.

This is a nice plane but keep in mind it is very small and light. It didn't work for my intended purpose which was smoothing out ridges left by a saw blade near a corner after assembly of the pieces. For other small jobs and the right woods this should be fine.

The small plane is relatively easy to adjust for depth of cut. Because of the small width, it very hard to work on anything wider than 3/4 inch. Took me 20 minutes to shave off a tiny bit of the door's top edge so that it won't rub against the frame. It's impossible to get an even, smooth cut on bigger surface. My hand and fingers got tired very quickly trying to work this tiny plane. It's like using a paring knife to cut up a turkey - it'll get it done in the end but the result ain't great and takes much longer.I wish to have spent smart money on getting a bigger one.

Trop petit. Ciseau ne tient pas en place.

Very handy but not meant to last... it’s plastic and the hardware is flimsy. Not ready to go out of the box.. needs sharpening
