Utterly disappointing. Should have popped for a Sabien china... Have a Wohan 11 splash that's quite decent and pairs OK with my my Sabien HHX Comlpex Perfomance Pack. Oh well...

This cymbal has a nice trashy and sharp sound. Great for all kinds of music, especially rock, punk, metal. I find the decay of the cymbal to be fairly short which is preferable for me.

If you are looking for a trashy quick decay china you v found it , for the price these are a steal , mines are still holding on and i hit them things , even if they eventualy crack you wont lose your shorts .

Of course "Chinas" are trashy by nature, and this 16" is all that in a somewhat musically unrefined way. Its sustain is on the shorter side, while its tone is at the darker end of the scale. It projects very adequately. Proportionally, it sounds musically similar to a 27" Wuhan China I have had for about 25 years (Shortly after I picked it up, I saw it played by the [original] drummer for The Pretenders in the "Middle Of The Road" [recent at that time] video ... cool!). These Wuhans serve great some musical purposes, but they're not the most musical cymbals. That dang (but sonically superb) Paiste Signature China cymbal was just way too expensive. The Wuhan Chinas' exaggerated bells should be treated with care, as I have seen some in stores with cracks.I was knocked out by the sounds from recently purchased Wuhan splashes, 10" & 12". Nice pairing.

At first I wasn't going to buy cymbal. Upon further investigation, I learnt that Wuhan, although not as well known as Zildjian, Sabian, or Paiste, has been used by some really famous drummers (Neil Peart of Rush). I decided to take a chance and order it...I am not disappointed at all!!!The sound is clear and beautiful and you can tell that they have taken the time to really refine the tone by hand.
