Cable fits my 2021 Honda Ridgeline pretty well, is slightly longer than the OEM part but not to the extent of creating an issue. Nice cheap solution for a Honda part on back order.

After years of use my 2012 Honda Ridgeline tailgate cable had rusted through the bend point and recently broke. Thankfully there were a number of decently priced options for replacement of this cable with this being one of them. Time will tell how long it lasts as the original lasted 12 years.I used the new bolts and plastic washer/clips that came with the new cable. The big difference to note was that the new bolts are an hex drive while the originals were star drive .

Fits just like the honda cable and the hardware is hex key rather than large torx which isn't in everybody's tool box.
