I have been involved in professional video recording for a few decades now, and in my opinion, these are simply terrific!Back in the day, our cables were much thicker which had two problem. First, when you are trying to attach a number of different electronic components to a camera, they start to get in the way of each other. Several bits would be like a camera mounted monitor, and then using both In and Out connectors for different purposes. It starts be a real hornets nest!Second, but really less if you are working from a camera platform of some sort (tripod, slider, dolly, etc) is the weight. I have always admired the Steadicam folks, who always seem to be looking to reduce the weight of their rigs, even by a few ounces. These quite flexible cables are much lighter than their older style cousins.When I first started using these kind of thin cables, I thought that they would break too easily. After all, their thin, right? Well, I was wrong on that point. These kind of cables are as every bit as tough as the old style.Last point, I am comparing these cables by XRDS with the ones I have had custom made by a local builder. I have not yet used these new cables under high stress conditions - to date, just in studio. But so far, there are the same.When looking at the price, I am amazed. I paid close to 3X for one, what these are for two! Good deal! I like the fact that the heat shrink cable continues for a few inches, providing a little more strain relief.As pretty most established professionals, I am currently good for all my cable needs, but I can say this. The next time I need to order a few new ones, I am going here. Quality is the most important issue. I believe that's here. Price is less important, but it is nice to see that's it's a deal!

I grab these to interconnect my lab equipment. I don't need frequencies as high as HDMI, so I can't tell about high-frequency response on these.What I can say is that the build quality is good, the cables are small and flexible and work well for my use case.

This is a very high quality 3G HD-SDI cable.Made by XRDS, this is a well made BNC to BNC video cable, and is perfect for reliably connecting my HD video camera to my Atomos Shogun to record high quality video.A great value too, and includes two cables in the package. 5 stars.

The cable is well made and is very reasonably priced. It was purchased to replace an unshielded cable in the new security system at our church. The vendor of the system wanted to charge $500 to install it, but for the price of the cable we were able to install it and totally resolved the issue.

Transmission on its full length at 25ft is stable at 1080p in broadcast television pushing out colorbars or digital noise pattern to stress benchmark its performance. Its capable of handling 3G-SDI and 75 Ohm traffic which means at color range does need to be reduced around 422 to maintain stable signal but universally compatible across different broadcast studio equipment.SDI fittings rotate onto connector point firmly and is fully capped in metal. Inside plug is gold plated connector pin between a plastic guide holding it securely. The plugs are soldered onto rest of its cord using plastic fitted cable wrap which is nice to see.Despite its thin 3mm copper appearance, the cabling is actually shielded in a smooth braided material that gives it firmness & rigidity. Even being wrapped onto equipment and tied down, its coating seems to be abrasion resistant and holds up durably.

I like this cable - it has very clean manufacturing characteristics and is constructed very well. It's very thin but still shielded with a copper braiding along with a clear slippery-ish coating. The BNC connectors spin freely and have the correct spring-load balance. The heat shrink is perfectly applied.Recommended!

I am always on the lookout for perfect-length cables for my video camera rigs. Two feet is the sweet spot both for hooking up an onboard monitor and connecting a video transmitter or receiver.This XRDS-RF brand SDI Cable is nice and flexible 2 footer that does not feel flimsy at all. The connectors are good quality and lock into my camera gear very well.One exceptional feature of these very affordable cables is that each end has heat-shrink tubing protecting where the cable and the connector join together. This is a great addition that in my experience makes cables last much longer in the heat of battle on a film set. You can’t really add heat-shrink to a cable yourself because it has to go on before the connectors are installed.

I have been using this cable now for weeks as a short distance cable between my camera and DVR, and it's done a good job. The material seems really strong and plan on getting more for backup. My only gripe would be that they are a little two skinny. Overall a great product to have for short distance connections.
