Seems to be of good quality. Purchased to make anchor locker hatch with. Sturdy. Already been stepped on several times and holding up well. Testing it on kitchen floor before installing. lol.

Measurements listed in product description match to at least within a mm. Decent rubber gasket seems to seal door to frame complete and tight. Frame fits flat to surface, nothing warped or unexpected. You could easily add your own gasket tape between frame and whatever your putting it on if you want. Plastic seems ok quality. Not extra hard duty plastic but should hold up with reasonable care for typical use. Fairly priced for a ready to go out of the box easy install door.

I need an inspection hatch for my Cape Island Boat . Local suppliers wanted a fortune . This hatch is sturdy and should do the trick for a fraction od the cost . If it fails or does no provide me with adequate service , I shall report it back to Amazon who , no doubt , will make thing right .

I was quite surprised on the sturdiness of this hatch. Well made, thick, and keeps water out. I'm ordering a second one and possibly more in the future. I'm rebuilding my center console and this is perfect for the anchor hatch and the bow hatches.
