I bought these with the purpose of rewiring old lamps. After hours of trying to get the light bulbs to light up, no light. I assumed that the new wires with the dimmers were faulty. I asked for help from three other people, trying to solve the problem. The last person asked me if the light bulb was dimmable. I thought it was, but I went to the store to purchase a new one. Well, I am embarrassed to say, the true dimmable bulb worked perfectly. So, these lamp cords with dimmers are good quality and it's really nice to be able to turn the lamps down for a cozy warm atmosphere. I highly recommend these cords!
