Wow—these YoLink LoRa Smart Door & Window Sensors exceeded my expectations! Installation was incredibly easy, and the adhesive backing is strong—like really strong—so I have no worries about them staying in place. Adding them to the YoLink app was seamless, and integration with Home Assistant was flawless. The long-range capability is impressive, and the battery life is a huge plus. The door left-open reminders are a great feature for extra security and peace of mind. If you're looking for reliable, easy-to-use smart sensors, these are a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

I have installed 5 sensors. Very easy and even easier to hookup to the network. I like when a brief chirp after the door opens or closes, although with main door and kids this becomes rather noisy. Obviously, turning alarm off beats the purpose of the sensor, but overall very happy with the purchase.

I set one pair of sensors in my mailbox that is across the road and behind large bushes. Works great. Love the longer range of YoLink compared to normal Wi-Fi devices.

I have been looking for sensors to integrate into my Google Home and these did exactly the trick. You will need the hub, but just one. Once the hub is set up you scan the QR code to add to your Yolink App and then click on the button to integrate into the hub. 4 story home.... everything has a great signal with hub in basement.Integrated into Google Home well. You can then set triggers for Automation. For example, if Yolink door/window sensor is open, AC off. And voila, no more air conditioning the outdoors! You can even set it to turn on the AC when the sensor is closed! Connected this to my Mysa Split AC controller and voila, automated system so that guests don't waste my AC anymore! The only caution that I can give is that the active part of these units are wide, which can present a problem with some windows. In my case, I placed the active part BETWEEN the two sets of windows and the magnetic sensor on the window and it worked wonderfully.

The range with the lora radio in this unit is impressive. One hub covers the whole house plus the yard outside with no problem! The unit itself is a bit big when installed on a door and it only comes in white so when on a colored door it really stands out. Functionally of the unit is awesome!

Bought these to monitor home security. The devices work great on the exterior doors and are easy to install. My only complaint is the lack of good documentation for programming different monitoring options such as a home option, away option, or sleep option. The manufacturer has been in touch and is willing to work with me in developing those options. But as a former programmer I am disappointed in the lack of documentation. The devices themselves do work very well and seem to have the range they claim. I can and do get notifications every time one of these devices is activated. They also work on windows using tiny button battery sized magnets because the magnet provided is just a millimeter too large to fit where I need them to fit on my windows. Still a great option.Update: after using over a dozen of these for a month or so, I bought three more of these to monitor my diabetes supply drawer, my regular medication cabinet, and my garage freezer door. Easily adjustable to show that they've been opened even the smallest amount. Freezer unit has already paid for itself and many of the units in the house when it indicated that we accidentally left the freezer door open after retrieving items for dinner. Something that shifted on a freezer shelf and pushed the door open after my wife thought she had secured it. We were in the house when the alarm went off telling us the freezer door was still open.

Easy to setup and the devices are always connected to the hub and to you phone.

My setup included hub, 4 leak sensors (this review), 3 door sensors, garage door controller, motion sensor. All of which took me just under 2 hours to install. This was a really easy setup - scan the device QR code and it auto links to the Hub. While have only had it for a month it seems to be operating fine. Battery life is yet to be determined.Pros:1. One of the simplest setup and configure systems I have used. 4 door sensors took about 15min to install and most of that time was getting it out of the shipping materials.2. Takes a bit to figure out the logic but once you have it down it just works. Adding other devices is very quick and easy.3. Love that the battery levels are displayed in the app in each device drill in - but with the wasted main page real estate would have been nice to see that on the main page also.Cons:1. I am a software / GUI person and constantly wonder why some interfaces look weak. When looking at the overall screen I would expect to see maybe red box outline or bold letters when a a door open occurs. not green text. on the main page it would also be really handy to have the room listed that the door sensor (and other sensors) are in. That way you don't see a page full of door Sensor for text.2. Would also expect to be able to do SMS messages but while there is talk about it I have been unable to find how to do it.3. Alarms were set to get notifications from the App (iPhone in my case), and that worked perfectly. I knew overtime the door was opened when someone came or went4. Battery symbol is great, it would be nice to be able to see a percent, due to the small size of the battery life icon.5. For me the molding on the door was not flush and the door was an auto close one that would shake the frame. Due to this the sticky for the sensor fails and the sensor fell to the floor. The system up till then was awesome so I just glued it into place. All the other sensors were fine. Even the one I put on the slider.
