They just snapped right into place then clicked in the tail light assembly.Good product even know it came in open packaging.

Super bright, worked great about a year. One bulb went out...LED doesn't do that. Took it out, reinsert, worked but flickered. Inserted in the other side, same, so the bulb is malfunctioning. Disappointed as these should last longer than a year.
