I ordered this 50-Foot recoil air hose for my new compressor. The air hose my compressor came with is very thin (translucent), short, and seems susceptible to leaks. This air hose is heavy-duty with tight fitting connectors, and it provides for up to 150 PSI. (See the comparison of the hose that came with my compressor vs. this heavy duty hose.) Also, it is rated for high heat situations up to 150 degrees F. This allows me to place the compressor on solid, level ground and pull the hose to where air or an air tool is needed. I would recommend this to anyone with a compressor and a light duty or weak air hose. The price makes this item a great value.

I think this is a good hose, better than expected.The coil is mostly convenient vs a traditional hose. You can’t really get all 50’ of reach, and pulling to tight would result in it not coiling up entirely again.The quality is fine though definitely not heavy duty.

I recently replaced my old 25 ft, quarter-inch air compressor hose with a 3/8-inch one. My main goal was to find something longer and with more volume for running air tools, and this hose seemed like a great fit.The new hose is definitely longer and thicker, which is exactly what I was looking for. It feels heavier too, but in a good way - it seems really well made and durable. I think I might change the fittings at some point, as they're not quite keeping up with the new hose size, but for now, the extra volume of the hose is doing the job just fine.It's a coiled hose, so storing it properly is important. I hang mine up to avoid any tangling. If you leave it on the ground, it can get pretty tangled because of its length.The price was great - getting double the hose length for just a bit more money was definitely worth it. I can now easily reach all areas of my garage without moving my air compressor around. I've been using it for a few days and it's working great. The fittings are tight and I haven't had any issues so far. For the price, I think it's a really good value.The only small issue is with the black sleeves on the hose - they don't stay in place very well and tend to slide up the hose. It's a bit annoying but not a deal-breaker.Pros:- Longer and thicker, providing more volume for air tools.- Feels well-made and durable.- Good value for the price.- Easy to reach different areas of the garage.Cons:- 1/4" fittings might need an upgrade to larger size to match the 3/8 hose- Black sleeves on the hose slide around easily.- Needs proper storage to avoid tangling.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. It's a solid hose that does what I need it to, and the price was right. Just keep in mind the minor items with the sleeves and fittings.

I use my compressor a lot, all year long and this hose really makes it easier to get to where I need to go without having to unwrap a straight hose. Pull it out and it coils back when I'm finished, very easy to manage and has no tangles. I'm deducting 1 star because one of the strain relief sleeves detached from the fitting right out of the box.

Nice size, good flow, performs as it should under pressure. My biggest concern was how it would fair in cold weather, and the first snow and single digits, I grabbed it to see. Again, it performed pretty typical for the build material. The cold caused hardening of the composite material, creating a slowed recoil, but it did recoil. This is pretty commonplace for anything not rubber, so I was not surprised. All-around a halfway decent air hose.
