It is made of polyurethane material which makes this air hose resists kinking, abrasion, UV radiation, electricity, oil, chemicals and heat. 150 PSI working pressure. Flexible at -40 to +150 degree F. This air hose is also Installed 1/4" heavy duty industrial quick coupler and plug for convenient to contact air compressor and air tools. The bend restrictors reduce kinking and help to increase the life of the hose

TL;DR this air hose seems to be well constructed with quality fittings, I'm very happy to have it as part of my compressor setup, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one when I need it.I have a couple of compressors and a number of hoses that I use with them depending on the specific situation and needs. The primary hose I use with my pancake compressor developed a leak in the female coupler where the air tool plugs in. I got this air hose to replace that leaking hose, and I have to say that this is a far better hose than what I previously had. I attached it to my compressor, pressurized the tank and let it sit for a good while and the pressure never dropped, so it holds air just fine. The entire setup seems to be high quality. The coupler fittings at both ends are easily replaceable (unlike my leaky hose where they were crimped directly onto the hose--hence my having to replace the entire hose rather than just a leaky coupler), and the hose came with the pipe threads sealed with pipe dope (the reddish color you see on the threads entering the coupler fittings) before they attached the coupler fittings (good attention to detail). The hose also has sturdy strain relief boots at both ends of the hose, which should also help increase the lifespan of the hose. This hose is really nice and light (since it's made from polyurethane) compared to some of my PVC and rubber hoses. It also appears to be non-marking, meaning the hose won't leave marks if you drag it along the floor or it drags against some baseboard--this isn't always the case with hoses made from other materials. Rubber hoses especially can get sticky with time and leave scuffs and marks on finished surfaces. It also seems to lay flatter on the floor than my other hoses which often loop up off the floor, so this hose poses less of a tripping hazard, which is always a good thing. I like that the hose has a braided reinforcement, which also bodes well for durability and longevity.I haven't used this hose outside in the cold yet myself, but, from what I've read, polyurethane hoses handle cold temperatures much better than PVC and rubber hoses, which can get really stiff in the cold and become a pain to handle. I'll update this review if this hose fails to be better in that regard. Obviously I can't comment yet on the long-term durability of this hose (I'll update if it doesn't live up to expectations), but already it's pretty apparent that it's a nicer, better constructed hose than any of my other hoses. The only potential drawback of this hose for some users is that this hose has a 1/4" inner diameter, which makes it less well-suited for certain uses that require constant high CFMs (Cubic Feet per Minute of air flow) because it won't handle as a high volume of air as a larger diameter hose. It also means that your compressor may cycle a little bit more frequently than if you were using a larger diameter hose (because the higher volume of a larger diameter hose effectively increases the tank size of your compressor). For most people, that will never be an issue and certainly not a reason to get this hose.

I worked with many different style air hoses in several industries. Rubber, silicon, and vinyl (pvc, abs, etc).I have not shut the compressor down in many years except for maintenance. The airlines I use do not leak. There is compressed air available 24/7 in my garage. This airline is a good quality and initial air leak tests passed. The test is simple. 48 hours connected to the compressor and the compressor did not turn on.This hose is very light compared to a similar rubber hose. This makes it easy to carry. In warm areas, it is flexible enough to almost lay down flat to the floor. Like other "plastic like" hoses, it does not like the cold and becomes stubborn. Rubber and silicone jacketed hoses are not affected by the cold winters up north. It is 1/4" so do not expect a great volume of air compared to a 3/8" or 1/2" airline. I can do everything I need to do in the shop with this air hose including running a die grinder, air hammer, and 1/2" impact wrench that use allot of air. I keep 10 gal booster air tanks (on wheels) for high volume jobs and this 1/4" hose can feed this tank and a larger hose goes to the tool I need.I like it. It is small, light, and the swivel ends are a real plus. This would be really good for paint guns because it does not add much weight to the paint gun which helps reduce fatigue. The problem I found was the air chuck. It would not seal no mater which tool I used. I checked the fittings to see if they were different. I figure this one got out without a seal. No big deal, just put on a new air chuck.Light, tough, easy to carry ... yes, a good deal.
