As many I was skeptical, glad I was wrong!!!I use repticooler to cool on lowest fan speed, keeps my hermit crab tank at 77 degrees (79 max in day) and 75-79% humidity, otherwise I have to use ice packs on top of a snap on screen cover on top of a sliding screen with much plastic wrap to seal in humidity. Repticooler is a nicer option then the ice packs. Arizona sucks last few years during the summer time, my house doesn't cool well, crab gets the best treatment of all!My crab tank stays consistent. When I buy a bigger tank, I imagine I'll buy an additional one!That magnet cover closes with a very tight snap, I scared myself and hopefully not my nesting/molting crabDefinitely recommend this product!!!

I live in FL. My leachianus gecko tank was hitting 82 degrees so I purchased this cooler to get the temps down. Ambient room humidity stays between 50-60%. The cooler brought the temp down to 75 degrees. It does exactly what I need. As a plus it keeps the humidity at 75% between mistings!I docked 1 star because the reservoir is very easy to spill. If the unit is tilted while filled up it will drain out from the bottom. Be careful. Otherwise I am pleased!

The ReptiCooler says it’ll help with reducing the temperature of the enclosure by up to 10 degrees, but i have yet to see it. I have tried adding ice water to the reservoir and the temperature remains basically unchanged.Not at all what I expected.

Monitored temperature over 24 hour period. Even using water almost frozen temperature only dropped by around 1 degrees. Basically just an overpriced fan

This thing is perfection for my Chinese cave gecko. I have other critters that need higher temps so this is awesome to help keeps temps lower for Remington.
