  • This pool hose fits 1.5-inch adapters, and fits 1-1/4 inch or less Schedule 40/80 PVC Pipe. Please Note: If hose is stiff or cold, lay out in the sun to make more pliable for ease of use.

This hose is extremely thin and cheap. Upon first use to backwash, the hose busted right in the middle. Very disappointed with the poor quality. Will not be purchasing this hose again in the future.

I ordered this ‘Pool Backwash Hose 1 1/2 inch × 25 ft’ to use to backwash my pool filter. I liked the fact that I would be able to roll it up when I was done and not leave it lying on the ground.Unfortunately, this ‘Pool Backwash Hose 1 1/2 inch × 25 ft’ is not usable as a backwash hose…or for any other hose function for that matter. The vinyl used for the hose is not pliable enough to allow it to open up to allow the water to pass through it. It just backs up…builds up pressure…blows off the filter connection…and makes a big mess.I initially thought the hose didn’t bend or open because it was cold from sitting out in the garage when it arrived in sub freezing temperatures. But even after leaving in the house overnight, it still won’t bend or openDon’t waste your money on this ‘Pool Backwash Hose 1 1/2 inch × 25 ft’. It’s not usable.1 star

Product arrived with multiple holes in it, defeating the purpose of using it as a hose.
