Programming instructions:
- programming instruction included however, you need to have Two working key to preform DIY programming. the key needs to be cut at certified locksmith or dealership.
- Please make sure that your original has the same button combination. Also, the part number on your remote must be the same.
- Your vehicle must be equipped with keyless entry, otherwise this remote will not work.

Purchased for my son’s 2010 Dodge Dakota as he only had 1 chipped key when he bought it. Local locksmith cut and programmed both keys. Much less expensive route than the dealership. All buttons work. Had them for a week.

Dealership wanted over $400 for one fob key like this to be cut and programmed.I ordered these and paid just under $80 to have both cut and programmed at my local locksmith.Highly recommend!

Update:After a month and a half, the 2nd one stopped working. It would randomly set off the car alarm (via the panic button). Buy another brand.Original Review:I had 2 of these programmed for a 2008 Jeep Patriot. Both worked fine but one stopped working after a few weeks of use. Wasn't a big deal tho considering I only needed one extra one. Here's hoping that one stays working.

Update: I would recommend switching the battery to a good Duracell or something. With a new battery they seem to work much better in the cold and have way better range.Original:The fobs work as expected. No issues at all programming them and cutting them was easily done at a lock smith as-well. However the range is pretty bad. Only works from maybe 10-15 feet away, any further than that and it becomes spotty and after like 25 feet there’s no chance. Compared to factory fobs that have been know to work from over 100ft away or from inside the house, these don’t hold up well. Also the buttons don’t feel at all like the factory. They don’t click nicely when you push them, more of a spongey feel like a cheap calculator. Also there is no dodge logo on the back like the original fob has.But other than that for the price they are pretty good. You can’t even get 1 fob from the dealer for double the price so I really can’t complainBut if you had remote start they wouldn’t be very useful since you can’t even use them from inside

I shipped them to my parents in a small town and the keys showed up already cut for another car. I contacted the sender directly and new keys were sent out without needing to have my parents try and figure out a return. New keys showed up quickly and worked perfectly. Great keys and great customer service.

Way cheaper then the dealer wanted. Worked great. Easy to set up. Can’t even tell it’s not an oem let other then it not saying Dodge on the back
