I recently replaced the brake levers on my child's bike with these, and the difference has been remarkable. It works as replacement part but really cheap Chinese crap. The attachment of the cable end to the lever is not very secure and I expect it will come loose during use. Time will tell.

One of the plastic brake lever’s on my old bike broke and these were a great replacement for the old ones, and they also added a splash of color to the old bike!

The old brake handle was broken so I replaced with this handle and it was perfect for fit and finish and appears to be just as good or better than the original. Can't say anything about durability yet but it looks to be a very well made piece.

First impressions: The brake lever feels light and cheaply made. That aside I had to stretch open the handle bar holder to fit and once it was locked in and the brake wire hooked up and adjusted, the brake lever worked well.I only needed one so the second will be a good backup

The travel of the lever doesn't pull the v-brake cable as much as a typical brake lever. This means you will squeeze the lever and it will go all the way to your handlebar - not good. This was evident when I replaced the previous brake levers. The reason is the pivot point where the cable attaches to the lever is lower than normal - look at the product photo that shows the lever depressed. Maybe this works for some types of brakes but it's different than all the ones I have. Stay clear.

Good, works just as it should and my daughter hasn't broken any of them like the plastic ones that came with her bicycle. She can now stop safely and they are very strong
