I put these on Shimano RSX 7-speed levers. THESE ARE NOT MEANT FOR THOSE. However, they work well enough, they slide into the top mounting 'button' (important) and if you trim one of the inner 'nubs' there's no high spots to bother your hands while holding them. It's not necessary to trim that as I found my thumb avoids that area and it MAY add a slightly ergo shape if kept. You'll have to decide.It's impossible to find aftermarket hoods for Shimano RSX brifters and NOS Shimano hoods are WAY too pricey. These are inexpensive and fit well where it's important. Yes, you can see they don't fit 100%, but I'll take a slightly goofy look so long as it's not that deteriorating, sticky mess old hoods eventually become.Now I can run my RSX levers in comfort much longer, win.

I bike around 3 to 4 times a week for at least 15-20 miles. This means I go through a significant amount of parts from wear and tear. The installation of these were straightforward and easy. Quality is comparable to the original parts.

When installing, be sure to remove the gear cable first.

I had been looking for a set of hoods, even tryed several newer models.These fit perfectly. You have to work them on, as with any hoods.Thank you.
