they are for short term planting. over a moth, they will start to greak down. some of them have grown mushrooms from the paper pulp. mind you they are mycorhizes.. i wish the papier was spore free and would last longer. but for squash and cukes with fragile roots. they do the job.

As soon as these get wet, they have the consistency of newspaper. These literally fall apart with water.Even watering sparingly, they split. Would give zero stars if I could.

They are a great size and price however, there's no hole in the bottoms, they are super thin and fall apart very easily when wateredAs we do thousands of seedlings this a problem when you run 18 to a tray to water from the bottom up.These might be okay if you pre moisten the dirt and gentle spray / water frommthe top.
