I ordered these before to clip my tomatoe plants. They work perfect to keep them from draping on the ground

Very easy to use, the next year ~5% of them won't close properly anymore(I think this is pretty good, considering they're in the full sun).I prefer twisting my lines around the stem, but these clips work much easier. If you let your tomatoes grow 1 foot at a time, it's better to throw a clip on, than risk breaking the plant twisting the line around the new leaves. Also works on Determinate Tomatoes to give branch support onto the cages, rather than tying a bunch of tiny strings.

These clips are great for tomato plants, cucumber plants, big sunflowers, and anything that grows very tall or for keeping vines off the ground. A big help in the garden! Good value.

We grow tomatoes in a green house and this year they got huge, they grey way taller than the double high tomato cages we had for them. The weight on the plant from the tomatoes was pulling the plant over. Someone recommended these to me. I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. We tied some string to the ceiling of the greenhouse and placed these hooks where we wanted the support. They work great. The tomatoes are no longer being pulled over and breaking. Best part is, we can use them again next year.

They work okay but it can be hard to open them especially when they are already on a plant. I’ve had to cut a couple off to remove them. They are also a little hard and pointy so be careful not to damage the plant when using. I will go back to my garden Velcro tape but will also still use these for certain plants.
