The original 1958 bearings finally gave up the ghost. I ordered a mono-bearing for the mid shaft and this bearing for the bottom. I installed the bearing and installed the steering column with shims, the bearing distorted. I am going with the mono-bearing. Unfortunately this is manufactured just as the original bearing, that's the problem, they should have improved it.
