This was such a great option for us as the fob and key still worked perfectly but the rubber pad had disintegrated over the years. A little scraping with the handy tool and it all lined up nicely!

The rubber buttons on these two key fobs were completely destroyed. We removed whatever rubber was left (not much) and these replacement parts fit perfectly. They work perfectly now! we can unlock/lock the car doors and the horn alarm works as well.

Be sure to keep the hard plastic piece on your original key fob. I removed it and then tried to use just this product on its own, but it kept falling out. I realized I needed that hard piece. I peeled the damaged rubber off of that hard piece and then "wrapped" this new rubber face around it to get proper attachment. Worked like a charm. Holds well and works perfectly! I have a 2012 Kia Rio.
