NO interior (remote/electronics/transponder chip)unit inside this car key case.
The keyblade of this key shell needs to be cut at your local dealer or qualified locksmith.
Please make sure the original remote looks the same as this case.

I have had to replace several of these because they are so cheaply made and you need to handle it as though it's a newborn baby. And because I've had to put so many together I know how delicate you have to be and patient so that's how mine last a little longer than a month. This last one I purchased lasted 3 months. Let's see if I can go longer with the current one

This set of two replacement key fobs arrived within one day. They are easy to assemble and fit perfectly. No directions included but they were not needed. Very impressed with this product would highly recommend. PS make sure you order batteries to go with it.I feel very accomplished I was able to do this on my own!

Key fits well into Fob cover case for civic 2007 with 3 buttons. Deserve a 4 stars plus as time will tell how long it will last.Take note of the FCC ID on the back of your original fob case in case you need to order new Fob with the electronic module inside.The top side cover (with holes to accommodate buttons) coming last. After inserting the key blade onto the socket and onto the bottom cover followed by the electronic remote control module, you need to first align the hook on the back side of the top cover with the bottom cover, wiggle the buttons to align with the holes on the top cover then snap in the top cover.

COMPLETE GARBAGE. does not fit a 2007 CRV properly. Wasted 3 hours trying to get it right. Dont throw away your money.
