We have a Beta in a 3 gallon tank with a filter. He's an office fish, so he has to spend at least 3 days alone in the office. We decided to give him one of these tablets every Thursday morning for the past 6 weeks and he has been doing just fine. Lots of spunk and personality! I wasn't sure if we even giving him 'food', but he seems healthy so.....I'm happy I don't have to worry about him when the office is closed.

These weekend feeders, dissolve very quickly. You have to watch and be able to add another if needed. I do have to say it does not make the water cloudy. I like that.

Went on vacation back in October. The blocks do not dissolve. It’s now end of January and the block is still in my tank.My poor fish didn’t get to eat the entire week I was gone.

I put one in when I was gone for a 4 day weekend, and when I came home there was nothing left of this block. Put it in Friday afternoon and came back Monday evening. Not a trace. It didn't leave any residue behind and didn't cloud the tank... but definitely wouldn't use for longer than a long weekend. The fish was totally fine so hopefully he ate it.

Some look broken but my vacation will only be a few days & someone will be staying with my bettas just in case as 1 is injured due to a snail eating his tail fin (I saw him do it while I was cleaning the tank, only mystery snail out of about 1000 that I've raised that's had any interest in doing that). I figure even if it's, broken it should still work since I'm using it to feed bettas with snails & someone will be home to keep an eye on them.

I didn't buy this from Amazon but wanted to warn people about it. I was away for 8 days, it didnt dissolve, I don't know if any food was even released. The picture is brand new ones in package and the one that was in his tank for 8 days to show how little it changed. I now have a very sick betta who I don't think is going to survive.
