Our goldfish in the pond eat it. Of course they chew the algae off the rocks, so I wouldn't call them a refined pallet fish.

This is a very large bag, lasted several weeks. O ny criticism is that the food floats so well, if the fish don't get to it quickly it gets swept away down my pond skimmer.

I have a variety of eight 8 inch to 1 ft Koi in a relatively small backyard pond and the fish simply love this food. The pellets floats on top for an extended period of time providing more opportunity to observe the fish feeding. My children look forward to "fish feeding time." I believe the fish have been growing faster and their colors have become sharper and brighter as a result of the food. The price also is very reasonable for a small pond owner
