The one thing you need to know with these holders is that they need a fairly thick part of the rod (1/2") to properly hold your rod in place. They would not be good for something like an ice fishing rod, or a super light weight rod. But, if you've got regular rods, these have worked fantastic. I made sure to clean, dust, and dry the cinder block I was putting them on before placing them. I also let them sit for about an hour so the adhesive could set up before I put any rods in them. Once I waited, I pushed my rods into them, and presto! The wife was excited that my rods were no longer leaning up against the corner! Now, I just need to find more room around the garage, and I'll be able to hang the rest of rods up!

Decent hangers. The assembly leaves something to be desired, the holders are not exactly aligned with the mounting plate, meaning that either what you hang will be slightly crooked or the mounting plate will be. Another, possibly significant issue is that the only way to mount is with double-sided tape. There is no way to use screws to securely mount the hangers without drilling holes in the plates.The grip is good on the hangers themselves - they're effective at what they do, but they do feel "cheaper" than some others.
