This is useful for the standard autopilot on my Model Y. It eliminated any interior camera nags/notifications. However, I'm running a software version from like Nov of 2023 before they updated it to nag more, so IDK how the newer updates will respond to having the camera covered. FSD will not work with the camera covered.

These 4 pack of Tesla car cam covers are perfect for many cameras, not just for Tesla, they’re great on most car cams and desktop and laptop front facing cameras. They stick in any flat surface and slide to to close or open. Just what I needed.

These are incredibly small, barely wider, and only slightly longer than a manicured fingernail. They are also thin and very flexible. They cover the two cameras in my car well and the sliding mechanism works without a problem. The backing tape secures it firmly, so it does not wobble when operated.The tricky bit is that the thing is jet black, and so is the camera, which means that unless you aim a powerful light at the area, you will have some difficulty in fitting it just right.It turns out that I can use the spares for my two laptops. However, I intend to paint these in a nice bright colour, just so that I can tell the difference between the cover and the camera. Otherwise it will be difficult to tell whether it is closed or not. Come to think of it, I may just do the same in the car.

For a while now, we've been uncomfortable with the fact that Tesla monitor driver behaviour via the inside camera mounted above the rear-view mirror. This little cover takes care of that. It's a bit fiddly to apply because the mirror is in the way. I recommend you have someone hold a torch up because fitting black plastic on black plastic accurately is tricky to see. Once on though, this stays firmly in place and the sliding cover has a nice click to it when it locks in place. In terms of looks, it fits the car perfectly and is very inconspicuous.
