Once they charge 100%, they work great. I have 3that have been going non-stop for 2-1/2 years and still going. WAY better than changing batteries every 3 months. Well worth the purchase I’d say. AND they survived 2 tornados, cold temps and ice (7 degrees) with hot temps of 105 degrees. Yes in Texas.. Worth every penny. I have 4. Only advice is to put wire loom on the power wire going to the trail cam if squirrels are around.

I used this unit with a couple of different trail cams I own and it was compatible and worked well with all of them. I will no longer have to continue climbing trees, unlocking, replacing expensive batteries and repeat! This will ensure you don’t miss moments when batteries go dead.Great value for the money, powers the trail cams sufficiently and seems to be of good quality. I would recommend this product to anyone with a trail cam.- Jon D

I have owned the Game Camera IP 65 solar power and used it to run one of my game cameras for over a week now. We had rain and cloudy weather throughout this time. One of my solar game camera has only 25% battery power left over this time. The IP65 solar panel is still showing 100 % charge. The solar collector panel is 5 times larger than the ones that came with my other trail cameras. This is allowing more sunlight to penetrate the solar panel and it is still charging while having little sunlight. I use my game cameras 24 hours and 360 days a year. This solar panel will provide the power to keep my camera running. The IP65 solar collector is easy and simple to set up. It comes with a Mounting Tripod that is easy to use, as you can see in the picture. It comes with several connection plugs that can run any game camera. Be sure to check on your camera to find out what voltage your camera uses. You have the option to choose 12 volts or 6 volts while ordering. It takes 8 AA batteries to run my trail camera. When using video these batteries do not last long, especially if there is a lot of activity. It cost me $10.00 to replace them. This unit will pay for itself on the money saved by buying batteries.

Upon charging using the supplied USB cable, the panel lost 2/3rds of its charge in the few hours it took me to get to the chosen tree I was mounting the camera on. Then, even though the camera is in sun 6 hours a day, it went flat by the next day. Disappointing.

I specifically bought the panel because of USB power output, it’s waterproof and claims 5200mAh capacity- it falls short on all:- The USB output port is not waterproof because the rubber seal needs to be removed to connect a USB cable (1 STAR LESS)- The battery status cannot be checked without removing the rubber seal (1 STAR LESS)- 12V output cable cannot be detached if not used (1 STAR LESS)- There is constantly a red LED light emitted, so strong that it even shines through the solar panel (1 STAR LESS)- I had a Wyze cam with a 0.35A draw connected but after just 9 hours the battery was out of power, i.e. it’s just a mere 3200mAh and not 5200mAh as falsely claimed. BACK IT GOES!
