It works great. Gets the job done. The only downside is there is no way to turn off Besides the switch on the side. And the Power cord had a loose fit so had to keep unplugging it back in

After about 1~2h of use time, this is the bottom line - its a very dangerous item to have at home, or at work. Cords are short, base is very lightweight and flimsy (if you're an experienced engineer or technician, it limits how fast you can go with this), and the worst is - well - at high temps, the soldering iron melts the plastic which holds it and you might just burn your house if you forget about it. Spend a little more and get something with better build quality.See attached pictures where the base started melting. Remember, this is only after 1 or 2h using this item

I've had two of the larger combo stations, with eventual failures of the hot air temperature control, causing runaway heating. Also, THOSE items were somewhat unsafe, as the chassis was partially powered up even though both iron and hot air were off.This NEW one is much more compact, the on/off switch completely removes power from the box, and the quality of both the iron and the heat want seems to be excellent. I love the auto cooldown of the hot air want when placed in the "saddle", and the return to preset temp when picked up again.Add this good performance and design to the economical price, and the item becomes an excellent buy, thank you!

Last time I worked with a temperature controlled Solder Station was 20+ years ago and I paid >$200 for it... I needed to replace some SMD components on a control board and the TXINLEI 8586D did not disappoint.I used both the Solder Iron and Rework Gun for an hour or so (first did some trial run on old boards since I was a bit rusty and then to do the actual work) and they perform great. I love that the rework gun has automatic rapid cooldown once placed in the holder.Great product - Well worth the money the type of repair I needed to.

Bought this for my brother's birthday. A few days after I gave it to him, he had to repair a laptop for work. The ability to control the temperature on the heat gun was a fantastic option and well worth the price by itself. Hot enough to loosen the tape, but not so hot as to damage the screen. So far, he has only used it a couple of times, but it works great and does exactly what you need it to.

He probado cautines con anterioridad para proyectos de electrónica, pero esta es mi primer estación de soldadura y comparándolas, no solo con mis anteriores cautines sino también con estaciones que me topo en mi área laboral, se siente una diferencia muy grande en cuanto a la calidad del trabajo que puedes realizar.El tamaño del paquete me hizo dudar, pero al abrirlo, conectarlo y probarlo pude comprobar que es un producto de gran calidad.
