I like to think i’m pretty decent at soldering considering i’ve probably soldered hundreds of wires connectors and so forth, but the simple process of soldering always took longer and with more curse words than necessary by stuff always moving. The old cheap helping hands i got a year ago were trash. I really didn’t think i could get something this nice online. Thankfully- these are delightfully high quality and JUST what the doctor ordered. The clamp is a minor delight of mechanical engineering and is PERFECT for holding XT60 and XT90 connectors while soldering. These aren’t even that expensive at all, i don’t know why i didn’t look sooner. The magnets are just strong enough to not budge and are still nicely moveable. Nice heavy and sturdy base, quality alligator clips (although i did have to double up the heatshrink on a couple of them) are great too. Somebody who actually solders and knows and cares about what they’re doing clearly designed these. Bravo, this is my new all time favorite soldering accessory and i have an FR-301.

If you solder, you need this. If you have arthritis, you need this. Such a useful piece of kit. Far better than the flimsy helping hands products I have seen before. I love this. It has made my soldering so much easier and safer.

Quality appears to be good. What I would suggest is the company add to the instructions that it is the main dial at the elbow of the clamp bar that tightens all 3 joints on the clamp bar. When I first looked at it, I thought the lower and upper joint of the clamp bar were tightened at the upper and lower joint. Caused me some annoyance until I realized that tightening the elbow dial firms up all joints. Otherwise, all good.

I have been an electronics tinkerer since I was 10 years old. This amazingly built machine of an assembly holder is terrific. i just got it a few hours ago and from its solid metal construction to the magnets that must have come from space they are so strong. I have to say, Thank you engineers of this delightful magnetic holder. I can tell you walk the walk and once you are exposed to this soldering handy hands helper you will not want to part with it. Again, wow. I'm retired and I am not getting paid for this review. It's my gift to all the other people like myself who enjoy working on our toys and hobbies late into the night.

La plaque (base) est de bonne qualité, assez de poids pour tenir le tout. Les différents bras articuler sont bien attacher sur la base grâce à leurs aimants à leur base. Le petit plastique sur le pince est toutefois de moins bonne qualité mais les pinces eux le sont. Il est juste triste que le tout viens pas avec un sac de transport pour entreposer le tout. Je recommande.

This is a high quality board. Everything feels solid and robust, plus its extremely versatile. The bottom plate is heavy and doesn't move while you're working. If you're tired of cheap helping hands, get this kit, you won't regret it. Really great customer service too. I had an issue with one of the arms. I e-mailed the company and I received a brand new one the same week.
