It does seem to work ok, although, on really tiny components, the heat doesn't seem to penetrate as well as lager components.CON:But here's the one thing that is not so good.That is, the handle, which is obviously in 2 parts, connected, has too much play in it.That means, even once you adjust the tips to meet perfectly, once the handle is in your hand and you squeeze it, it can move side to side, causing the tips to not meet, but rather, slide past each other (into an X).The handle should have been better designed to have the 2 parts slide easily, but without side-to-side movement.When using it, you must keep that in mind and when squeezing in, also squeeze to the side that allows the tips to meet.Other than that, it does seem to work.I do recommend it, as long as the CON part is understood and not a deal breaker.
