There appears to be a manufacturing defect that affects some units ability to change. I charged it for over 12 hours the intensity numbers never stopped flashing and the power button wouldn't turn anything on. This was a common complaint with the 1 star reviews but there were enough happy customers I thought I'd give it a try

This was way better than I expected. There are bits of car restoration where even a Dremel is a bit clunky and large and this took has been great for those hard to reach small areas. It's surprisingly powerful and strong being near twice the voltage and speed of other options. The accessories are pretty comprehensive and charging has been long enough for me to get various jobs done. A great price too - thoroughly recommended.

In my model making hobby, I usually use knifes, chisels and sandpaper to do the final stages and finishing of the art objects which is strenuous on the hands and wrists. The Tipkook engraving pen is the perfect tool to help me do the same work easier and faster. It is small and is the right fit for my hands. It is cordless and has a large capacity rechargeable battery. The included USB cable in my USB charger topped off the battery in under an hour. The pen has five speeds that can be cycled through with a one touch button. Included in the kit are more than 49 accessories for various tasks (grinding, engraving, drilling, cleaning carving sanding, polishing, and cutting). It comes with three collet device to connect the accessories to the spindle. My work is mostly in wood and aluminum but it is good that I can use this for stone, plastic, glass and other materials when the time comes.

There are many devices available in the £20 to £40 price bracket. This one is probably the best value.7.2v with a hefty runtime, gone are the issues of getting halfway through a project and needing to recharge. This is (relatively) lightweight for a rotary tool. Enough torque to take on harder materials, and with accessories for almost every job. The 5 speed settings go from slow to "is this going to rip a hole in the space/time continuum?", with light pressure applied, this is suitable for more or less any materials (with some due care and attention)This comes in a handy carrying case, with full instructions, and charging cable + accessories.Great for a new hobby, or to upgrade from manual tools. The shank is adjustable too, so can accommodate 3.2mm or 1/8" accessories easily. Dremel are the way to go for new bits, but the cheap ones on here fit too

This is a great tool. It comes with a case holding about 20 bits. Varying sizes and shapes for buffing, grinding and drilling. And lots of spares for the sanding disk. It has as much power as the dremel I have but it's way more convenient not to drag the cord around. I've only used it for about an hour so far and have not had to recharge. The five speed levels are enough for any application. it's well designed and at 260g (9 oz) its light enough to hold like a pencil for precision tasks.
