This heater did not hold temperature. It fluctuated constantly from 65-80 degrees. Very unreliable!
too many fake reviews

Item came early and was what I need. I appreciate it’s a standard plug rather than usb as my old one has the usb connection and it had become loose and disconnects to easily

I'm using it to heat a small jug for hatching brine shrimp. At this price point, it's impressive that it has variable temperature settings and a digital temperature display. For the first few days, I monitored the temperature with an Inkbird controller and it proved reliable enough for my purpose.

We have a 2.5 gallon aquarium, with a Crown Tail Beta and 3 small Neon Tetras. Ideal temperature is 76F to 77F degrees. First, it’s not USB, and this operates on standard 110/120 plug. Exactly what I wanted. Installed the heater upright in one corner of the tank. I found that setting the heater to 78F keeps the water at 76.5F, measuring with a temperature probe furthest away from the heater in the opposite corner. Keep in mind that the heater is reading the water temperature at the heater, so adjust accordingly. I also use an “old school” floating glass thermometer for confirmation. It reads a constant 76+F. Setup is easy with suction cup, and adjusting the thermostat temperature is simple with pushing a button. The heater kicks on with a red light when the temperature drops 0.2F below setting, and kicks off with a green light when temperature reaches within 0.2F of set temperature. As it’s only 10w, you’ll see the temperature display drop until it heats back up. This cycle only lasts a couple of minutes. I must say, it works very well. And at only 10w, it’s not going to use much electricity. I’ll only be displeased if it doesn’t last awhile, but first impression is, it’s a winner.

An adjustable tank heater which shows the temperature to set to is good for any type of fish. Only way to make it better would be to differentiate the setting vs actual.

Keeps the tank warm and my betta fish happy. Bought a cheaper one from the pet store with no temp control and it barely did anything, this one is much superior.

I bought this 20 watt ( recommended size) heater to avoid the temperature fluctuations of my non-adjustable heater as the water temperature would fluctuate between 75 to 84 degrees F this summer in my 1.5 gallon tank. My betta’s tail is shredding, probably because of water temperature stress. Well, I have my heater set at 79 degrees F and during the heat of the day my water temp is 81.5 degrees, this morning it was 75 degrees, so not much difference than my previous heater.

Have a small 2 gallon & is just what I needed to get the temperature up. There really is no actractive heater. But since small, easy enough to hide. Easy set up. Not much bigger than my thumb in length & diameter. Suction cup seems to hold & temp also holding. Fast delivery.

It is too early to say anything about service life but these are working better than Inhad hoped for.The rooms have been very cold here and a 50W preset heater simply couldn’t raise the temperature high enough above the ambient to keep betta fish comfortable in tanks of 5 and 7 gallons.Adding one of these to each tank solved the problem. The water temp does not match the set temperature exactly but it doesn’t matter because I always use a manual thermometer to double check.Once I had the water at my desired temperature they maintained it and the fact they don’t match set temp to actual water temp under these conditions is simply no big deal. The room temperature drops to 15-16C at night and is about 16-17C days and I’m happy if the tanks stay at 77F. I could have them up to 80F but I think the fish are better off a few degrees under that. The heaters have been in use about a month and so far so good, I’m quite pleased with them. They are very short and as heaters this size go, very unobtrusive.I hope they last at least a few years.
