Very easy too use and helped my fish tremendously, can be fully submerged in the tank. The adjust knob for the temp is a little tough to turn and change the temperature but I’m sure it’s for water to not get into the heater fully submerged,Good size and does well in our 35 gal tank

I was in need of the heater as my old one broke. This works as a good option as it has a cheaper price and good reviews. It maintains it temperature after settled even though the temperature is 1-2 degrees off from the knob indicated temperature reading (I noticed all my previous heaters did that, so not surprisingly for me).

Worked well during the Texas freeze. I had three of this 300w units running in a 500 gallon outdoor tiled gunite pond and they kept the water above 45 or so. I had another floating heater, that helped bring the water up to 57 or so but the floating heater is useless IMO, it does not turn on unless the water gets to 35 or so. These ones work non-stop, it will never reach the 80F setting I have.I dont think this will be suitable for colder places. Suction cups are useless.

Kept my fish tank warm, within the defined specs in the heater. Bought this April 2023. Woke up last week to my fish trying to jump from the tank. I later realized water was cold. Took heater out for a deep clean and it started working again for a couple of hours. Now it isnt even lighting up. I wouldnt recommend.

At first this heater was amazing and did everything I wanted it to do but today when I when to check on my fish. I realized their morning light bar did not turn on so I checked my power brick if it was on but the switch was turned on but I could not see any light. So, I checked their tank and the heater broke into pieces so I had to quickly turn off my breaker to minimize any risk when taking the fish out. Anyway, I would not recommend this product as this is a safety hazard to humans and fish. As I had an expensive discus pair in the tank which they got a bruised but now in a recovery tank. Would like a refund or some sort of compensation. Have a good day everyone, hope other people do not have the same experience as I had.

I bought the 300 Watt heater for my 75 gal tank. It works fine, no real issues. The temperature adjustment knob was hard to turn, as once it is set there is no need to change it. (maybe not a bad thing, as it would prevent inadvertent changes). I ended up with the heater set at 26 C, and got 25 C in my tank - close enough. Take your time to get the temperature where you want it, and be sure to have a thermometer to check the temperature.

I set up a temporary 2 gallon hospital 'tank' for my Betta, and he's hanging around the heater. It's been two days, and the suction cups are holding. While the heater in his 10 gallon aquarium is completely silent, this small 25W one that I purchased here on Amazon makes a notable 'tock' sound every time the thermostat kicks it on or off. It's kind of annoying, but this is a temporary setup, and the heater is doing its job. (The colour in the photos is due to tannins in the water from driftwood, which I'm hoping will provide some health benefits for my fish while he's recovering.)
