Install the pedestal and bracket
Choose the right screws either 0.98inch or 0.39inch to fix the pedestal which depends on thickness of the tank.
Start to use
Put the light on the bracket, Stick the metal support leg into the U-shaped groove (the diameter of the metal strip within 0.2 inch)

Very cheap plastic - flimsy and won't hold much weightI decided that it was too risky to use this so I packed it up and back it wentOverall it is a clunky, ugly unit and does not add anything to your aquariumNot recommended

They're more than robust enough to hold up the LED strip for my 80 gallon tank. Watch out though, these mounts are brittle and will crack if you screw them on too tightly.
