I wanted to add hitch parts that matched or exceeded that of my truck, a Honda Ridgeline. The ratings on this are excellent and the quality of the unit far exceeded my own expectations! I don't think I will have any problem pulling my trailer with this hitch! I would gladly buy this unit again but I don't think this will ever need to be replaced unless it is simply stolen! I am very pleased with this drop ball mount!
