I can't say enough about this product. Plain and simple- it gets the job done, and it's made like a sledgehammer. The only thing I would change is powder coating in the future as the electro-applied paint allows it to rust very quickly. But God have mercy on the person who rear ends your vehicle while donning this hitch.-It will not be a good time. -

Very Satisfied for price paid but CURT could easily improve product somewhat. It arrived well packaged from factory in sturdy cardboard box. Hitch was sandwiched between two urethane injected bags to prevent any movement in transit. Paint quality is a little bit inferior to REESE in my opinion. It also looks less beefy/solid than the REESE I compared with at the store. I bought the CURT because it was higher rated than REESE in terms of towing capacity. My biggest complaint would be that this hitch is very loose fitting in the receiver compared to the half dozen others I own. I needed to shim it in the receiver to prevent rattling when driving which also leads to retaining pin wear and so forth.

Forged steel pintle combo for our FJ. Was looking for the pintle set-up for towing our little trailer during our off-road excursions where we needed a little more 'play' than a ball mount provides. The pintle connection is noisier, but far more secure than a ball-only connection. Just from my hand, this puppy seems to weigh twice what the ball mount does. I'm more confident with our boat attached to this then the standard cold-rolled steel welded tongue. Priced right and delivered fast with prime!
