The OBD II Diagnostics function is a fast-access option that allows you to carry out a quick test on the engine system of OBD II vehicles.
- Read and clear OBD codes on all post 1996 domestic, post 2006 European and post 2009 Asian vehicles.
- Retrieve and clear codes in Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
- Retrieve and clear codes in Supplemental Restraint System (SRS)
- Turns off Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL)
- Displays monitor and I/M readiness status (emissions)
- Reads, stores, and playback live PCM data stream
- Views freeze frame data
- Retrieves vehicle information (VIN,CIN and CVN)
- TF memory card for data backup and software update
- Retrieves generic (P0, U0), manufacturer specific (P1, P2, P3, and U1) and pending codes,vehicle information (VIN, CIN, and CVN) and DTC lookup
ABS/SRS diagnostic function
The ABS/SRS diagnostic function is used to retrieve and clear codes from the vehicle’s ABS/SRS systems. It also provides the definition of each code to help diagnose problem areas withinthe systems that may cause the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) to turn on.

Display DTC Definition on the TFT Color Screen
The DTC Lookup function allows user to search definitions of DTC stored in built-in DTC library. For manufacturer specific codes, you need to select a vehicle make on an additional screen to look for DTC definitions.
EVAP System
The Component Test function allows initiating a leak test for the vehicle's EVAP system. The scan tool itself does not perform the leak test, but commands the vehicle's on-board computer to start the test.
Print and Update
The Print Data function allows printing out diagnostic data recorded by the scan tool or customized test reports by connecting the scan tool to a PC or laptop with the USB cable supplied.

I have a couple of those really cheap ones that just do the engine codes, and this is so much better. It offers much more, like ABS, SRS etc, but even if you just just use it for engine codes, it does that so much faster than my other ones. You plug it is and almost instantly have the code. My others ones take a long time trying to figure out what protocols they can use to talk to the car. I didn't even update it, just used it right out of the box so far - all good :).

Has most makes (all?) included in software. Did NOT need updates. Diagnosed 2000 Jag problems (ENGINE, ABS) with no fuss. This is a money saver

Bought for my ABS light on my Volvo V70 2004. Plugged it in, pushed a few buttons and hey presto did exactly what it promised to do. Absolutely great value for money considering the performance and ease of use. Has other useful features and will clear engine management codes etc so will definitely pay for itself in no time.

Had issue with airbag light on 2006 Mazda 3. Plugged in the AL619 and was able to read the SRS codes and identify that the clockspring had to be replaced. Replaced part airbag light is gone so am very happy with the Autel AL619. It is great value for the price. It is well made and easy to use. I've loaded the software on Windows 10 laptop and it works fine. Was able to read the microSD without any issues and check for updates. I am happy with the tester. It works as advertised.

This product worked flawlessly. While I'm not a car expert, I can handle minor repairs and servicing on my own. It resolved my issues, allowing me to save approximately $260. Un lecteur de codes d'erreur accessible et multimarques, voila ce que je recherchais.En prime, une marque connue et réputée dans le milieu et utilisée par des professionnels, que demander de plus ?Probablement la langue Francaise car en effet, après avoir ouvert le colis soigné, on trouve la boite de l'appareil qui renferme le produit dans une belle sacoche avec les cables de liaison avec le véhicule et le cable de liaison avec le PC, on se retrouve face à un objet massif et de bonne facture, on le démarre, on navigue et on se rend compte que le Francais n'est pas disponible par défaut !Qu'importe ! un petit mail au support qui vous répond rapidement et vous indique la marche à suivre après quelques vérifications d'usage, une petite reprogrammation de la carte mémoire et le tour est joué.Vous voila désormais en Francais mais en plus avec les toutes dernières versions des logiciels pour disucter avec les différentes marques supportées par le AL619.Il m'a fallu moins de 5 min pour naviguer dans les menus et effacer les codes d'erreur présents sur le véhicule.A tester sur d'autres véhicules pour tester la fonction sur les lectures des codes ABSJe recommande !

I bought the AL619 specifically to read ABS codes on my Nissan Titan, it will not read ABS codes on my Nissan. The product description is vague in identifying brands for ABS, so I emailed Autel - no response. I posted a question and what came back was encouraging - it worked on a Nissan, not specifically a Titan though. Unfortunately I decided to make the purchase based on that answer. The unit reads engine codes and does everything that a much less expensive reader will do - that works fine, just no ABS codes for me. Secondly to be able to update the software, you have to load the Windows based program - no option for Mac users that I can see, another question to the manufacturer and another question unanswered. Not impressed with the lack of support from Autel, its made off shore, didn't know that until it arrived and I assume that makes things less urgent and more complicated.
