I am very happy with these fret erasers. They are easy to use and they make quick work of cleaning and polishing frets. I am no luthier, but as a working musician and private instructor, I do a lot of setups for myself and my students. After over ten of my own projects, a buddy borrowed these erasers. He liked them so much, he bought a set of his own. I like them and recommend buying them.

Great product ! A bit smaller than I thought the pieces would be , overall though they do what they are meant to do .

They take some getting used to and trimming off used sections often yields uneven surfaces. But they do work for a quick fret polish and are very convenient.

The 1000 grit definitely cleared up the tarnish (on a 20 yr old guitar). I didn't bother with the 180/400 grits. I wish it went finer. And that it was cheaper. It was otherwise easy to use. I used masking tape to protect the fingerboard and just moved up and down. Like a real eraser though, rubbing will soften the edges so you'll have to rotate it get precision.I cleaned up 2 guitars and the 1000 grit still looks barely used.

J'ai vue ce genre de gomme a polir avec Stewmac mais vraiment plus chère. Celle-ci font vraiment l'affaire. Elles m'ont permis de polir mais aussi de limer les frets le long du manche de ma guit. Très cool versus le papier sablé.

I had been using 1200, 2000 grit sandpaper and 0000 steel wool to polish frets. It is so labor intensive taping off the finger board and the top of the guitar and pups for polishing. I had heard of someone using the old grey gritty ink pen erasers to polish frets. (those things are hard to find these days). I saw these and picked up some metal fret guards. These do a good job and save time. For value price is just a little on the high side but the convenience is a big factor. These should last a long time even with 6 guitars.

These work really well when frets need to be cleaned up and/or polished. I think you will find the quality of these to be superior of those that are much more expensive.
