Fits and works for 72 vw super beetle

I bought two of these (3) prong brake switches. From the start, my dashboard brake light lit up when these were installed. After several hours of troubleshooting, it was one of the two brake switches. I was able to overlook the dashboard light for a while, as the switches were working for my stop lights okay. After 300 miles (2 weeks), the other brake light switch started leaking brake fluid right at the electrical connector. Stick with German made ones folks.
