These are a convenient tool to have. They're not the sharpest. You're definitely not going to cut a new nut with me these but they're good to have in a tool kit or go bag for quick adjustments

Nice little set of needle files. I got them to file down lines and spots in plastic models'. On plastic they work fantastic. On pewter models its also good. for testing I used them on aluminum and no problem, but on mild steel it was slow and not sure its the tool for that job.As far as price this seems competitive with other options,. The handle is nice and reasonably comfortable for short time use, but the flip out gap will get annoying if you are using them for a lot of models in a row.
