When I received this item, the cap was separated from the base. A little JB weld fixed it. Cheap Chinese junk but it worked for what I needed

Hydraulic tank vent on a 1980's drum roller. Before getting this, honeybees would get into oil and filtered out while running - before I got it. It does keep the bees out! I expect this to last a long time.

Use it for a vacuum pump exhaust filter...To cover the oil reservoir and it does just that...Lets air out when running, keeps dirt out when not...I like it.
