Another quality B&W product! 5” rise / drop is just what I needed for my GMC Sierra 2500HD. Towing a boat & trailer at 16,000 pounds leaves little room for cheap products. The hide away feature is nice but I never trust leaving this on my truck unless I’m actually towing. Easy to adjust the height.You can trust B&W.

Product is high quality and heavy duty. Like having an all in one hitch. However if you own a GMC with the tailgate that has the drop down step the hitch will damage the tailgate. It’s not the ball but the top of the hitch that slides into the receiver. It sits up high enough that the tailgate hits it when the step is down. I was hoping to leave the hitch installed but will have to remove it when not using and remember to not use the step when it’s installed.

This is my second B&W tow and stow. My first was a 2" for an F150 and I just recently went up to an F250. These are super nice. I've used the weight safe with the reversible ball in a previous F250 and I really liked that hitch but it was a little annoying when you pulled the pins the hitch could drop right out. Although the aluminum was nice. I smacked a dump trailer coupler with this hitch about a week after I bought it (we've all done it...). The downside of these is I had to hit it with some pray paint to prevent corrosion. Overall great hitch, I grease the pins a few times a year to keep them running smooth. Also apparently the owners of the company or stand up gentlemen and they make their stuff in USA. Big fan of that.

Ordered this hitch to be able to tow my boat 1-7/8 and tow my travel trailer 2/516. This hitch is built like a tank . It’s extremely solid and well built . High quality all the way around. From light towing to heavy work it has you covered

I give BW almost five stars all the way except for the three R Clips used to hold the three removable pins. They keep disappearing and I have to buy new ones. Actually I keep a bag of clips in my truck since I do not want to loose the expensive pins. BW needs to figure out a way around the clips.Other than the clips, this is the best hitch you can buy, well made and easy to use And it looks great, you can see pride in manufacturingI have a problem with Amazon since they sent me the wrong one. I bought the one with three balls and 2.5 inch shank. Amazon sent me a different one with two balls and 2 inch shank. I have a 2.5 inch receiver , and I ended up buying an adapter from an auto part store and kept it, why? Because it is very heavy and I did not want to go through the hassle of a return. But Amazon gets one star for not sending me what I paid for, even the part number was different , I am guessing someone else got my piece. Having said that, this type of failure is extremely rare with Amazon from personal experience,
