It's a standard Curt receiver which means it's good. I recently pulled a dump trailer with it and no issues so I'm sold.

In 1.5 years of use it’s help up to alot of trailers towing 2-3 times a week it’s been used as a strap hook up to pull cars out it’s been used as a jacking point and still is good, the only issue is the factory paint started to flake off in the first month of having It on the truck 90% of the paint peeled off and started to rust so I ended up re powder coating it

Turning this upside down was the perfect rise for my VERY LOW Toyota sienna hitch location.I'm pulling a 17' fishing boat trailer with it and the trailer sits level. Great product, heavy duty, good quality and no complaints from me. Suggest measuring what offset you need, but this was the most I could find without going to a strange setup.

I really like Curt products as well as the service Amazon provides. And, I have done a lot of business with both. However, today, I was very disappointed has my Curt hitch receiver shank (mount) arrived too damaged for me to accept. This (10-inch drop) mount arrived in the same box as the 2-inch chrome ball and, upon opening, I discovered that neither item was individually wrapped and part of the mount was protruding out from within the box. The box containing these two items was far too large for its contents and was of only single-wall cardboard. Air bags/packets filled the remaining void of the box but offered no product protection whatsoever given the nature (weight & density) of the contents. Naturally, the two heavy, very dense items pummeled each other and hammered the box interior their entire journey (at least 13 different handling moments between Indiana and Washington) and, at some point, during transit, the box failed completely as the underside of it had been re-taped. It is of no wonder that both items (especially the mount) arrived damaged. The factory powder-coated finish of the mount was riddled with surface chips and dings which will quickly lead to rust. The ball also sustained dents--no doubt as it fell on the floor...somewhere en route. Nearly always, items I purchase from Amazon arrive to me in excellent condition (as anyone would expect), packaged appropriately. Sadly, in this situation, someone, somewhere did not perform to the minimum level of standard necessary this country depends. I would always prefer a package arrive late but properly packaged than on time, damaged. I ordered a replacement mount and, hopefully, it will arrive in excellent condition. In the meantime, this one will make the long journey back for a refund. The only difference during its return trip is that it will be better packaged. To whom it may concern-- I am usually not so hard on others but, I have high standards and I was very disappointed to have spent-- what is a lot of money to me-- on damaged merchandise. I needed the 10 inch drop for my lifted jeep. This hitch fit the bill at a good price. This is very heavy, well made hitch. Its specs exceed the tow limit of my Jeep so it is more than I needed for my one ton trailer.For those who want to know, when I was trying to figure out how much of a drop I needed for my lifted Jeep, I was told to measure from the bottom of my hitch receiver on my jeep to the ground, then, with the trailer level, measure from the bottom of it's hitch to the ground. Subtract the trailer measurement from the vehicle measurement and that number would be the drop you need in your hitch. My trailer sets level when connected with this 10 inch drop so I assume this method works :-)
