Terrible product, doesn't fit properly. Seems to press multiple buttons down at once and nothing works. Light just flashes red. Thought I would try switching the old buttons in and then my car alarm would just keep going off. Do not recommend even though some people seem to have had good experiences

Case is cheap. Doesn't fit the key very well. I got a single key cut separate and use this fob case for just the fob without the key. I just hold the fob behind my single key when I start the car. I will be purchasing a rubber cover for this fob case and will just continue to keep them separate.

The buttons kept sticking until I just cut the connecting pieces away and carefully trimmed the plastic around the buttons just a little. Other than having to mess with the buttons this product works fine and not having to go get keys cut was a major time saver.

Hey Amazon shoppers, let's talk about the AUTODA Key Fob Shell – a versatile solution for protecting your key fob without breaking the bank! First off, the price point is fantastic, and delivery was swift, arriving in no time. However, there were no instructions included, but assembly wasn't too tricky to figure out. Just be prepared to apply some pressure when closing the fob – it takes a bit of force, but once it's sealed, it's solid. I used it on my 2009 Lancer fob, and it fit like a glove. One thing to note is that there's no Mitsubishi logo on the back, though it's not visible in the listing photo – just a blank space. Additionally, I ordered it in December, and by the end of March, the icons on the buttons started to fade. But considering the frequent use it endured, it's still a worthwhile purchase, especially for a quick fix.Overall, the AUTODA Key Fob Shell gets the job done, offering affordability and reliability, albeit with a few minor quirks. If you're in a pinch and need a replacement, this could be the perfect solution.

this is like my 5th set in 2years, whenever I lend my car to a friend or wife lol the key comes back broken, it's solid as long as you know how to jiggle the ignition to not break the key, and the buttons need to be filed down but once they are good, just change them from key to key when you have to replace the case, I highly suggest to have 2, one as a backup for when it breaks

The key shell I received is completely unusable. Put it all together and the shell is too tight, so it presses all the buttons down at once. Tried reusing the buttons from my old key, and that just set my alarm off. Once you get it closed you have to hit it with a hammer to reopen it, it seals so tightly and there is no gap or tab to get it open again.Horribly made product, clearly they never tested it. Returned it. I’dRecommend something else.

The loop that holds my FOB on the keychain broke. I called the dealer who said it would cost around $50 for a new FOB cover and then the key would have to be sent away to be cut which would cost another $30. I paid less than $20 for this and then in a couple of minutes changed it over myself. It looks great and works perfect!

This is a great product when the part of the case that the keyring sits on breaks. It looks and feels identical to an OEM part while also having a much stronger exterior it seems as well a nice silver Mitsubishi logo on the back (mine was just solid Black originally).A couple words of caution:1st - if you find that the fit is very tight and your buttons are being pressed, I found this to be issue with the fact that the case doesn't have any slots on the inside for the little plastic connections between the buttons (the small connectors that hold all the buttons together). An easy fix for this is to just break off the connections between the buttons so they're all floating separately. This fixed my issue entirely and has no effects on the functionality of the buttons/key FOB.2nd - there are 2 different pieces that hold your key into place, be sure to use the right one. There are also 2 different screws, one for each piece. If you use the incorrect screw like I did originally, it may almost come out the back of the case and not fit quite right. This wasn't an issue for me anyways due to the fact that I epoxy'ed everything together, but just take your time with it and don't rush. Also you WILL need to "break" the key off the original FOB in order to the get it out. Not a big deal, but just be aware of this. Overall once everything was together it was a VERY tight and snug fit.3rd - the case is extremely tight fitting once everything is together and there doesn't seem to be any small groove on the outside of the case (like the OEM FOB) where you can insert a small screwdriver or pry it open easily. This can cause you damage the case if you try to reopen it. Thus, as a quick caution, I would recommend replacing the battery if you think it may be getting low soon and ensure that the FOB fits correctly together so you can avoid taking it apart 4 or 5 times like I had to.All in all though, a fantastic OEM replacement product. Nearly identical on the outside and the buttons and logo on the back are sleek. Just know what you have to do before popping everything out.
