R Pi picos are a blast to play with and if you don't know python...super easy to learn and get started. Finished my first project in a month....looking for more uses for pico. Big step up from arduino and soo much easier.

Fresh out of the protective bag these boards could not be detected by any computer and IDE I tried them on. I checked out all my micro-USB to USB-A cables and in the process found one that didn't carry data OR power, so that was nice to discover (cut it in half so I don't try to use it for something it can't do later). So, with a good cable I tried to use the boards on Windows 10 and on my Steam Deck in desktop mode (aka Linux). I tried using Arduino IDE, Thonny IDE, and Santroller (program to make wireless guitar controllers for rhythm games into wired controllers that bypass all that proprietary nonsense) and the outcome was the same: no detection on any serial port. I checked if they were detected at all in windows device manager and got nothing. Fortunately I get to return these. I was really excited for a couple of projects with these in mind, but those projects will have to wait for new boards provided by a more reputable seller.

Soldering was poor on the boards I received. None had the headers soldered on straight, and two of the boards had a distinct bend, presumably due to how the headers were soldered on. One board the LED cannot be controlled, and it has errors, so I suspect a bridged solder joint somewhere.

These two were cheaper than one from a different vendor. They are what they are (open source hardware) so all of them are pretty much identical. I did buy these as they had the pins already soldered on, which saves me a step.Otherwise exactly what you would want in a Raspberry Pi Pico W.

Time, money and honestly mostly time has went into these things only for me to find out they're all dead. No LED, no response in BOOTSEL. Very disappointed, just junk/trash. Don't buy.

Bought a breakout board also. It was a bit of a chore to hook to ArduinoIDE. Plenty of search hits on others having similar issues, but it is connected and working.

Is an off brand model, not an actual Raspberry Pi Pico. But seems to work

Les en-têtes pré-soudé sont croche, j'ai due les refaire. "the pins are not aligned correctly, does not fit in breadboard, i had to redo them on both boards. Poor workmanship.

these do not appear to be oem boards but have the official white raspberry printing. overlocking does not appear to work on these boards. ground vias are square on oem official pico, these are rounded.

If you don't like to solder unless necessary (or have shaky hands like this old guy), buy them with headers.
