Ich habe das Produkt gekauft in der Hoffnung das die Hühner nicht mehr so rum sauen.... genau das Gegenteil ist leider der Fall , überall liegt das Futter verstreut um die Eimer.....

So my chickens are pigs. They used to burry, spill...overall just waste their grain. When it rained sometimes would clog up the feeder and I'd have to empty and clean it. When I bought it I found the price reasonable. Bought my 5 gallon of paint (empty) drilled holes with provided tool, installed 2 feeders. The chickens were able to get it right away and eat out of feeders....and no waste. Rain can't get in, chickens are unable to spill or scratch at the grain. SUPER SUPER happy I didn't have to spend ridiculous money at the farm store.

I made a feeder for my chickens with these and a Rubbermaid tote. It works great! The hole saw drill attachment it comes with was easy to use. And they were easy to install. Would buy again!

Fast shipping, this Product is Not designed by farmers for Farmers, I've been feeding chicken for many years on several different feeders thought maybe I should try something different, big mistake, this cup feeder spills more feed then what the hens actually eat, more then 50% of feed gets spilled, . My advice Do Not Buy this product. I'm glad I was able to return this product

We have some backyard hens and enjoy the fresh eggs and daily antics. However, we also have an abundance of sparrows who love to feast on our chicken feed in a traditional, open-top feeder. I found this set when looking for alternatives and was intrigued by the possibilities for sparrow-proofing my hens' food supply.The kit comes with six "spouts" and a hole saw. You can install the spouts in any plastic container or bucket you like. Once you have that (we used a 5-gallon utility bucket), chuck up the hole saw in your drill and cut as many holes as you like, up to six. I cut three because that's how many hens we have.Initial results are promising. The chickens were a bit cautious at first, but they have a curious nature and soon figured it out. So far, the sparrows haven't been able to do the same as they would need to get inside the feeder. They are persistent pests, so that is a possibility. But in the meantime, we have reduced the amount of feed going to the sparrows.If you have a similar problem or just want to complete a DIY chicken feeder, you've found the right stuff.
