Trap seal primer faucets are increasingly tougher to find for retrofits. This is a solid-built solution. Deducting a point for the plastic nuts, and lack of colour cap indicators for hot/cold.

It seems made of decent quality and was ordered specifically because of the trap seal primer addition. However, the one I received is not exactly as the one shown in the picture. Mine had a plastic nut at the base while the one in the picture seems to be brass. Despite that it did secure the 1/4" plastic tubing. I also want to mention that I had to drill a bigger hole in the utility faucet to accommodate this particular trap seal primer since it was slightly larger than the original. The plastic base that came with this faucet was somewhat flimsy and poor fitting. It didn't seem to fit well with the unit which is probably why the instructions mention to apply putty/silicone. I used the old one instead. I did like the longer spout which does extend much further into the sink than the old one. Be mindful when installing the spout that it snaps on correctly or you will get water leaks from the top of the collar when the water is turned on.

I am a plumber and bought these taps for my laundry room but sent them back after a friend gave me a set of taps. They looked like good quality taps and were a great price.
